Earlier today, New Hampshire Governor John Lynch said he will sign the civil unions bill currently pending in the state legislature.
The New Hampshire House passed the bill last month, and on Thursday, the New Hampshire Senate is almost certain to do the same.
If the bill passes, it will be the first time an American state has approved any kind of same-sex union without the impetus of a legal battle.
Yay.
