Vote Cinthia for Prom King

Hot off the AP press, here's a sweet story about a transgendered high school student named Cinthia Covarrubias (pictured).

In Fresno, A Transgender Student Runs for Prom King

"I would never have run for anything if I had to wear a dress," said Cynthia.

In response, we echo the classmate of Cynthia's who had this to say:

"It's not like the stereotype where the king has to be a jock and he's there with the cheerleaders anymore...We live in a generation now where dudes are chicks and chicks are dudes."
